Interbike app for iPhone and iPad

Using this App you can discover the Adriabike route and download the GPS tracks, record your routes, make reports and share your experience with other cycling enthusiasts.
In particular:
1) using the “new report” function you can make reports along the cycling routes pointing out a particular category, taking a picture and inserting a brief description. The position will be registered automatically using the integrated GPS on your device.

2) the “reports” section, broken down by category, holds the reports that you have made using the Interbike app and all the reports from other users. In this way you can share the experience of your trip with all the other cycling enthusiasts.
3) using the “New route” function you can keep track of the route you are riding your bike along. At the end of the recording, press the stop button and you can store the path in the "my routes" section.
If you want to share the track with other users, you just have to activate the option “visible to everyone”. In this way, your route will be available for all users who use the Interbike app in the “User paths” section.



The Interbike project, funded under the Italy-Slovenia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013, the European Regional Development Fund and national funds, has the aim of developing a cycling network in the border region, accompanied by infrastructure and an intermodal network. The planned activities include the development of a project for a main cycling route with links to local roads and intermodal networks that allow travel without disruption from Ravenna to Kranjska Gora, the carrying out of a study with a proposal for a unitary identification system for the routes, the construction of individual missing sections of route, the preparation of a database and the digital infrastructure for the geographic information system, the realization of a web site, the preparation of a cycling guide in four languages ​​with a map and the promotion of the project to the public. The project will last four years, involving, within Italy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, together with Obalno-Karst, Goriška and Gorenjska in Slovenia.
